Workshop “Benchmarking of IT educational program within the Georgian National Defense Academy Bachelors program”

Between 26-30 June 2017, COL professor eng. Cezar Vasilescu, PhD. participated in the “Benchmarking of IT and Management educational programs for cadets” workshop, held at the Georgian National Defense Academy (NDA) from Gori, Georgia.

The activity was part of the Defense Education Enhancement Program (DEEP) run by NATO IS / PASP and had as main goal to enhance the education and training for the Georgian Armed Forces by sharing experiences in the context of best practices issues.

Along with the Romanian participant, COL professor eng. Cezar Vasilescu, the activity was supported by two representatives of US National Defense University (Joint Advanced Warfighting School within Joint Forces Staff College, and National War College).

Within the four-days workshop the NATO team exchanged ideas and perspectives with NDA leadership and Bachelor programme teachers and professors regarding the curriculum, syllabi design and content of the IT and Management programme started at the National Defence Academy and also about ways to improve the evaluation methods of the programme.
